Experienced Psychotherapist
Dr. Jane Annunziata received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Rutgers University School of Professional Psychology. She has worked with international students at the University of Bergen in Norway, and served as a Clinical Psychologist on the Children's Intensive Team at the Woodburn Community Mental Health Center. Dr. Annunziata has also taught at George Mason University and Mary Washington University, and has supervised advanced graduate students at George Washington University, the Woodburn Community Mental Health Center, and the University of Bergen.
In 1990, Dr. Annunziata opened her private practice in McLean, VA and provides individual therapy to adults, adolescents, and children. She enjoys helping her clients identify and work through the emotions and behaviors that are problematic in their lives and supports them to bring about an effective and lasting change.

Dr Jane Annunziata has co-authored 8 self-help and psychoeducational books for children, many of which have been translated into multiple languages. She has served as an editorial consultant for the American Psychological Association, Magination Press, and American Girl. Dr. Jane Annunziata has been quoted in the NY Times, USA Today, Washington Post, and several parenting articles over the years. She has given public talks at the World Bank, The Madeira School, and local schools and community groups in Northern Virginia.
